Words will never be able to do justice in describing the kind of person you were. You were someone who was not afraid to give 100% of herself for the people that you loved. You were devoted, and loving, and always there for everyone no matter what. Kids lit up upon seeing you, which speaks more to your character than any words I could offer. You were always there, ready to talk it out, chop it up, and sometimes just lend an ear when someone needed it most.
And now you’re not. And knowing this devastates me.
All I can say is thank you for everything. For always being there. For your patience, your consideration, and your empathy. For making me the person I am and showing me how to be the best version of myself. For being the most amazing mother and grandmother that I—and so many other people out there—could ever ask for.
1949-2022. Gone but never forgotten.
