This includes the new Republican majority in the house, which has already stated its quest to repeal all of Obama’s achievements from the last congress, limited though they were. Coupled with a Democratic party that has little stomach to fight (and a growing group that wants to cripple the government), I fear that we are in for some very dark days ahead. When the entire goal of one side is to undo the other just because they are the other (but give everything away to the super rich at the same time), we have reached the beginning of the end. Can we overcome? I don’t know, but I’m not hopeful. Good government is about give and take, but today’s Republican party is more about take and keep for those who do not deserve.

This is dark times and I worry that they will only get darker before we see the dawn.

Why can’t the rest of the Democrats in Congress get it? Oh yeah, because the health care industry is lining their pockets to keep the status quo. Shame.
