Case in Point

If you ever needed to know everything that’s wrong with our current political climate, look no further than Sarah Palin’s reaction to the Giffords’ shooting. In short, look how she ended up making the thing all about her. Not only that, she framed it with a completely anti-semitic term that is highly offensive to Jews everywhere (not that people of Palin’s ilk care… Jews are part of the “problem” you know). There lies the big difference. We see calls for calmer and saner rhetoric as a necessary tonic to these times; this stupid woman sees it as an attack on her. How sad.

Not as sad, however, as overweight drug addict Rush Limbaugh, whose latest attempt to lift any blame from himself about this matter is to say that the Democrats want the shooter to be acquitted so they can blame anyone but him. Maybe that guy wasn’t political, but he is mentally ill and the garbage that flows out of the mouths of guys like Limbaugh fuels their delusions and sets them up for things like shooting a congresswoman in the head.

All these episodes proves is that these people need to lift their heads back into reality and smell the coffee, because life is not about them, and the sooner they go away, the better for us all.
